How to set up multi-factor authentification (MFA) when using external account (without an HEC email address) ?

If you use an email address other than your HEC email address to log in to Zonecours, you will need to set up two-factor authentication the first time you log in.

Install the authentification software

Install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device:

Link your ZoneCours user account with Authenticator

  1. Log in to the ZoneCours platform on your computer, and a text box will appear with a QR code.

  2. Find the Authenticator app on your mobile device.

  1. Select the + icon in the top menu bar.

  1. On the ‘'Add an account’' page, select ‘'Other account’'.

  1. Scan the QR code displayed on the ZoneCours page on your computer screen.

  2. In the ‘'Code de vérification’' field, enter the 6-digit code dispayed in Autenticator app and click ‘’Vérifier’'.

Log in the plateform

The next time you log in to the ZoneCours platform, the system will ask you to enter the code generated automatically in Authenticator:

Open the Authenticator app on your mobile device to view the 6-digit verification code.
